Rube’s Review is a professional medical review website where contract workers in the medical industry can join with others and offer reviews of the facilities they have worked with and professional development courses they may have taken. Members are able to rate organizations on a scale of 1 to 5, view the rankings that others have submitted and join an online community to exchange ideas about their medical profession.
This site offers a customized BuddyPress engine for the membership site and utilizes Beaver Builder to create a variety of page headers and specialized content layouts. The website began as a morphing of the Cap Web Genesis starter theme and Studiopress’ Infinity Pro stock theme.
The evaluation engine is built on a series of Gravity Forms questionnaires and custom templates to provide instant rating calculations when a new rating is submitted. The site does include stop-gaps to temporarily hold any review that is lower than a threshold established by Michael Gatewood, the business owner.
