Cap Web Solutions has offered managed WordPress hosting since day one. But, we only offered it to our website development customers. If we built it, we would host it – with or without a website care plan, we offered WordPress hosting for all the sites we built. Since we built the website, we knew them inside and out. We were confident they were built to current standards and would play well with others on our hosting platform.
Originally, Cap Web Solutions partnered with WP Engine to offer best-in-class managed WordPress hosting. WP Engine offered high-performing hosting. Period. Nothing else. Just hosting. We liked working with a company solely focused on the service we were standing behind to allow the websites we built to shine. As their company grew and expanded into more and more areas, I determined that I wanted a more focused approach to website hosting and needed more control over the servers on which my clients’ websites ran.

We looked around at other offerings and decided to build our own managed hosting service. We decided to open it up to offer our hosting service to any WordPress website, whether built by Cap Web Solutions or not.
Do you have your own servers?
We don’t actually own the server hardware. Cap Web Solutions does not have warehouses of servers all over the world; we have the next best thing. Cap Web has partnered with top-tier cloud-based virtual private server companies like Vultr, DigitalOcean, Linode, and Amazon Litesail to bring you appropriately sized servers for your website.
Where are your servers?
We will set your new site up directly on a blazingly fast VPS provisioned from one of our cloud providers, or if you currently host elsewhere, we will migrate your site to our servers at no cost. We have servers across the US, and if your traffic is primarily international, we can select an offshore location for your server
What’s actually in that server black box?
Glad you asked. Cap Web lays it all out there for you to see, well at least on paper. You can’t actually see it.
All of our servers are running on Nginx with 100% SSD, with server-level caching for blazing-fast performance. We fine-tune the servers to meet your website’s requirements. Do you need more PHP workers for your WooCommerce site or LMS website? We can do that. You are not constrained.
Each site includes multiple Web Application Firewall (WAF) options to make sure your site is performing at its best. Your site will use either Percona MySQL8 or MariaDB for your database. We also include Redis Object Caching for a major database performance boost at no extra cost to you.
We integrate your website directly with Cloudflare for best-of-breed security, performance, and caching.
Did someone say free Let’s Encrypt SSL? Yes, on every site. Combined with SFTP-only access, your site is secure.
What’s the catch?
No catch. No long-term contracts. However, we do ask that you stick with us for at least 90 days to best experience everything there is with Cap Web WPcare Managed Hosting. Our standard hosting plan will be able to handle most small business websites.
If you have a large e-commerce store, or your blog is getting 10s of 1000s of visitors a day, we need to bump up to a larger plan. The larger plans have the same features as the standard hosting, but they offer more vCPUs, more RAM, and bigger SSDs. We tailor it to your needs.
