Cap Web WPcare Takes Care of Your WordPress Website

We focus on doing the little things your WordPress website needs done every day, plus all those little things you want to do to your WordPress website.

Websites need regular care and support to perform at peak efficiency and serve as secure platforms for your product or service message. Your website may be your source of income. It needs to be protected.

The code that runs WordPress is updated regularly with new features and capabilities, but more importantly, to close security gaps or eliminate opportunities for exploits.   Hackers love trying to break into websites, and your WordPress website is not immune. You need preventative measures in place and methods to block nefarious attempts to hack into your site.

Cap Web WPcare handles those updates and security checks behind the scenes, without your involvement, everyday. And should your website go down due to some type of attack on your host, or a piece of bad code, daily database and weekly full file off-site backups offer piece of mind that your hard work is not lost and can be easily restored.

A monthly report is issued the beginning of each month fully documenting all of the tasks completed under your Cap Web WPcare Support plan.

But Wait, There’s More – Tiny Tasks Included

Tiny tasks, tweaks, mods, changes, updates, jobs – whatever you want to call them. It’s just about anything that can be accomplished in 20 – 30 minutes – sometimes a little more than 30 minutes, sometimes a little less than 30 minutes. You get the idea.

• These are things that come up each month that you either don’t know how to do, or don’t want to do, but need done
• We get your stuff done quickly, usually in less than a business day
• Our service area is North America and our business coverage time is 9 am to 6 pm (UTC-5)
• We can reasonably handle one job a week if that’s what you can throw at us

Notes:

*We do like to take the weekends off, but if it’s urgent, okay, we’ll do that, so long as you let us know its urgent and don’t take advantage of us.

We will update your WordPress theme to the latest version on request. We will only update the WordPress core files if all your plugins are compatible with the latest version of WordPress. If after performing any update, your website is not working as it should, we will restore your website to how it was before the update and advise you.

Offsite backups are stored on Backblaze B2 servers. We will maintain 10 daily backups. We will email backups to you if requested. Our backup limit is 1 GB/site, which is a fairly large site. If more is needed, we can discuss options for more storage.

Minimum Hosting Requirements

In order for us to provide these services, your WordPress website and hosting service must meet or exceed these minimum requirements.

• Managed WordPress Hosting Plan
• PHP 7.4 or higher
• MySQL 5.6 or higher
• SFTP and/or SSH capable and enabled
• Able to email, and establish FTP or SFTP path to server
  • WordPress v5.5+
    => We will update older sites to the current version with our “Boost” service.

**Monthly fee is $26 additional per month if your hosting does not meet the minimum requirements listed above due to additional effort required to work with legacy installations.
