WordPress Initial Discovery

Our WordPress Initial Discovery service is useful when you may not be sure what you need, but you know you need something, and you want us to take a look and offer a recommendation.

It generally includes about an hour of time, digging into the problems at hand, and a call to get a bit of two-way dialog for Q&A. The output of this service is a recommendation report on what we feel is needed to address the problems at hand.

If you decide to move forward with Cap Web Solutions to implement the recommendations, 100% of the Initial Discovery service fee is credited toward the professional services needed.

Should you decide to take our recommendation elsewhere, that’s fine as well. It should be sufficient for an experienced WordPress care and support professional to use as a blueprint for resolution.

  • Requirements:
    • Access to an admin role login account enabling us to fully review the functionality and plugins used.
    • Access credentials to an SFTP/SSH account so that we can review any theme customizations. This is generally not necessary if the theme is not customized. 
  1. No actual changes or updates will be applied to your website under the terms of this service. This is a fact-finding, discovery, and reporting service.
  2. A written recommendation report will include our plan to address the issues being reviewed, along with any additional premium plugins and/or services that may be required.  The report will include our estimate to complete the work.
